A new bid, the plans, the takeoff, the model and audit, the estimate pages, output and documents.

Verso Manager in three minutes 2:47

WhenToolWhat changed
1.4.5 THE AWARD FROM EITHER DESK, AND PRODUCTION GETS THE WHOLE BID CURRENT
October 2026Verso PlansAward the job from the bid menu, for a shop with no project manager: the sold bid frozen, the contract and the contractor on the cover, the workflow at Awarded, the company server told.
October 2026Verso PlansHand to production: a full open copy of the sold bid for buyout and savings, kept on this computer or handed to a colleague. The sold version stays as it was awarded.
October 2026Verso PlansA job handed to you lands in the header as an amber chip naming who sent it; the Projects row stays marked until you open it.
October 2026Verso PlansSettings, About names the company server and its schema version, as the Manager's foot does.
October 2026Verso ManagerThe Awarded page shows the sold bid's job cost lines as Verso Build reads them, with Price again for a job awarded before the lines were kept, and production against sold with the savings.
October 2026Verso ManagerAssign moves the workflow to Assigned and carries the Type, decided now or left Undecided.
October 2026Verso BuildSix read-only views on the company database for operations: jobs, bids, job cost, plan files, documents, proposals, with a reader login of its own.
October 2026BothSchema version 15. Verso Plans never changes the server; the Manager's Create brings it up to date.
1.4.4 THE BID LOCK, ITEM FAMILIES, THE FAST COVER PAGE, THE SUPPORT FILE, BACKUPS
October 2026Verso PlansSending a proposal locks the bid; Reopen from the bid menu keeps the reason on the record. Green padlocks on both lists.
October 2026Verso PlansItems carry a family, so quotes fold variations of one product into one line.
October 2026Verso PlansThe cover page opens at once on a set of a thousand sheets.
October 2026Verso ManagerBackups: the file store as a whole and every project's saved takeoff files, with Restore to and Download latest.
October 2026BothSettings, About, Save a support file: settings and logs with every password and key blanked. The office can ask any computer for one from the Computers page.
1.4.3 THE COMPANY SERVER IN AZURE
October 2026BothThe company database on Azure SQL and the files in an Azure storage container, beside SQL Server in the office and a shared folder.
1.4.2 MASTER TABLES THAT REACH EVERY DESK
October 2026Verso ManagerMaster tables published once reach every Verso Plans by themselves: taken at a sync when no bid is open, announced and applied from the sync wheel when one is.
October 2026Verso ManagerThe Computers page says which master tables version each Verso Plans runs, red in words when a newer one is out.
October 2026Verso ManagerSettings on five pages: Company server, Sync, Bidding company, Server, About.
1.4.1 TWO PACKAGES, TWO LICENCES
October 2026BothVerso Plans and Verso Manager install as separate packages with their own identities. The Manager carries a licence of its own, with the same thirty-day trial, and a licence key can be entered at any time from About in either app.

Every download at deselt.com is the current release. A release is the same package for a fresh install and an update; nothing on the company server is changed by an update until the Manager's Create is pressed.

  • Import from On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid, so a bid started there finishes here.
  • Verso Build's three-minute overview, like the other two, on a demo job with every page filled.
  • A Verso Plans overview of the takeoff drawn live, in place of the still frames.

In the order it is likely to arrive, with no dates. Ask for something at support@versosuite.com.
